Vecchio Granaio is only 20 km from Perugia. Rich of art and history, the city features monuments and points of interest, such as: Etruscan Pound, Rocca Paolina a fortress which often hosts street markets and events, San Severo Chapel where Raffaello’s earliest frescos of the Holy Trinity (1506) are still preserved, the National Gallery of Umbria, the National Archaeological Museum, Palazzo della Penna, Fontana Maggiore, the Sciri Tower and much more.

Besides, Perugia is the location for many important events.

Among the most popular ones: Umbria Jazz, a jazz music festival which takes place in July along the streets, squares, gardens, and stadium of the city centre.

Many of the greatest international jazz musicians (Herbie Hankcock, Keith Jarret, Sting) performe during the manifestation each year. Umbria Jazz Winter (winter version of Umbria Jazz) which takes place in Orvieto.

Finally, Eurochocolate: a 10-day themed chocolate event which usually takes place in October.
